Here is some majors points that we want to add in Emphasis, the complete list is in the TODO file

• Add a set of configurable key bindings
• An OSD at song change
• Support XMMS 2

Is Emphasis portable to xmms2 or another client/server music player?

Emphasis is now fully seperated from his mpd client part. In order to support a new server, Emphasis need a client part interacting between the client and the music server. And a wrapper part converting the server datas in a Emphasis specific list type.
